Co-Founder & CTO
Julian has been passionate about science and technology from a young age. Holding degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Engineering, he has been involved in the engineering science and ICT industries since 1997 and has successfully piloted several highly varied projects with various international companies. He has years of experience in the design and development of advanced electronics and software solutions.
In 2007 Julian founded Prisma Technology, a startup offering disaster recovery solutions to Maltese businesses. In 2009 he co-founded Altaro, a bootstrapped software startup which today has 90 employees and over 40,000 business customers around the world. Julian is driven by the quest for innovation and in his role as CTO at Altaro he is heavily involved in the company’s engineering research and development of new products.
